Born and raised in Cape Breton, Anna’s journey in physiotherapy began with her first part-time job as a physiotherapist aide at a local private clinic. This early exposure sparked a lasting interest in the profession. She went on to complete a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Cape Breton University, where she also played on the women’s varsity hockey team and volunteered as a Student Athletic Trainer for both men’s and women’s varsity sports.
Driven by a passion for helping others, Anna earned her Master’s in Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University in 2019. Since then, she has been committed to supporting her patient’s health and recovery through individualized treatment plans that include a variety of specialized techniques, such as functional dry needling.
Anna has a particular interest in pelvic floor physiotherapy and is dedicated to providing care in women’s health. She works collaboratively with her patients to provide a supportive and empowering environment, helping them regain function, confidence, and overall well-being.
Outside of work, Anna enjoys leading an active lifestyle, playing hockey and exercising. She values spending quality time with family and friends—often making the trip back home to Cape Breton!
