Melissa (she/her) graduated with honours from Canadian College of Massage & Hydrotherapy in Halifax, NS, completing school clinics specializing in Arthritis, Neurology, and Invisible Illnesses. She is passionate about creating a safe space for clients to feel heard and working with them to help achieve their best possible quality of life.
Previous to becoming a Massage Therapist, Melissa completed her Bachelor of Nursing Degree from Western Regional School of Nursing in Newfoundland and worked as a Registered Nurse for 7 years in various positions including orthopedic and general surgical post operative care.
Melissa provides trigger point release therapy, fascial release therapy, deep tissue massage and lymphatic drainage using General Swedish massage, PNS and proprioceptive techniques. She has an interest in treating postural imbalances, sprains and strains and acute and chronic injuries.
