Certified Pedorthists
Pedorthists alleviate pain and work closely with other healthcare providers to keep your feet and legs healthy.
A Canadian Certified Pedorthist — or C. Ped (C) — is trained in how to assess, modify, design, and fit custom-made orthotics and footwear, footwear modifications, and orthopaedic footwear.
A pedorthist conducts a clinical assessment, develops a treatment plan and sometimes manufactures the orthopaedic product needed, provides education about the orthopaedic product, and provides follow-up and adjustments.
