Dr. Ryan Robichaud was born and raised in Nova Scotia. He completed his bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology at Dalhousie University. During his time at Dalhousie, he gained an appreciation for human movement. After shadowing and volunteering with best chiropractors in Halifax and Dartmouth area he knew that this was what he wanted to pursue. He continued his post graduate education at New York Chiropractic College where he received his Doctor of Chiropractic and earned the Liberio A. Violini Distinguished Service Health Center Award for peak clinical abilities. While pursuing his Doctorate in Chiropractic, Dr. Robichaud completed the Contemporary Medical Acupuncture program at McMaster University. He has also furthered his education by completing an Advanced Functional Needling certification.
Dr. Robichaud is interested in complex cases and is able to combine his chiropractic and acupuncture education to help find the solution. These complex cases include, but are not limited to, problems such as back pain, joint pain, headaches and TMJ issues. He also has significant experience working with athletes of various backgrounds and physically active individuals by helping with pain and/or injuries that come along with leading an active lifestyle. He is eager to help his patients restore proper function and movement as well as reach their goals of recovery and/or performance.
Dr. Robichaud is a member of the Canadian Chiropractic Association and the Nova Scotia College of Chiropractors. In 2022, Dr. Robichaud became an extended faculty at CMCC, as a preceptor for clinical externships. In his spare time he likes to stay active by going to the gym, as well as playing hockey in the winters and softball in the summers.
